INTRODUCTION

The Department of Otolaryngology at AIIMS Gorakhpur established in 2019 has been built upon a rich foundation of medical education, research, and clinical care.
The specialized care includes Otology (Basic , Advanced), Rhinology (Cosmetic, Allergy , Basic and advanced endonasal /Skull base surgeries) , Sleep Surgeries ,Voice/ Speech/ Larynx diseases ,Airway Surgeries , Maxillofacial and trauma management and Head and neck Surgeries.
Our department aspires transforming the field of otolaryngology by providing state of the art medical services and also improving the knowledge through education and research. The department is driven by its commitment for exceptional patient care through traditional and modern medical innovations.
Our vision is to make otolaryngology department in Gorakhpur a center of excellence for education of Undergraduates, Postgraduates and Fellows in various subspecialities of our rapidly expanding specialty. We plan to provide advanced Preventive, Diagnostic, Curative and Rehabilitative health care services by creating a station of modern research which encompasses regional observational, clinical, analytical and experimental studies.
