All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Gorakhpur is a reflection of Government’s commitment towards advancement of tertiary care healthcare through excellence in education, research, and patient care. In sync with this mandate, our mission is to develop best practices of medical education, foster innovative research and cultivate compassionate healthcare professionals.

At AIIMS Gorakhpur, we are committed to providing a dynamic learning environment that empowers students to excel in their academic pursuits and prepares them for the complexities of modern healthcare. We aim to develop models of undergraduate and postgraduate medical education by adapting the best global practices in our regional context suitable for our socio-cultural milieu, for creation of professionals who will usher the “Amrit Kal” of excellence in India’s healthcare sector.

In alignment with our vision, we aim to contribute significantly to meaningful medical research specifically aimed at public health problems of the region. By fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation, we aspire to make meaningful contributions to the advancement of medical science.
