Cardiology Department was started in 2024 with a vision to provide state of art Cardiac Care to people of this region and also Up to date Clinical Guideline based Management Training to students and Paramedical staff and Facilitate for Cardiovascular research.

1. OPD

OPD for all walk in, referred and online patients. All varieties of patients including Coronary artery diseases, Arrhythmias, Heart Failure, Cardiomyopathies etc.

GOALS

• A. Short Term:

• OPD Services
• • Increase OPD Diagnostic services with Planned implementation of Ambulatory B.P/24-hour Holter/TMT/Stress ECHO/Dobutamine stress ECHO/Trans Esophageal ECHO.
• • We also Plan to start Heart Failure Valvular Heart Diseases and Preventive Cardiology as Specialty clinics.
• IPD
• • 15 Bedded Cardiology ward with state of art monitors and oxygen supply.
• CCU
• •10 bedded CCU with state of art monitors with oxygen line and bedside ventilators. All monitors connected to CNS. Invasive B.P. Monitoring. Arrangement of facilities of Procedure like Pericardiocentesis, IABP insertion.
• CATH LAB
• Procedures planned -
  Pericardiocentesis, IABP, Left Heart Catheterization, Right Heart Catheterization, Per Cutaneous Trans Luminal Coronary Angioplasty, Temporary Pacemaker Insertion
  Permanent Pacemaker Insertion, ICD Insertion, OCT/FFR, IVU, ULCPCI/Zero Contrast PCI, Intra Vascular Lithotripsy.

• 2. Percutaneous treatment of valvular heart diseases.
• 3. Electrophysiological Study Lab.
• 4. Pedaitric Cardiology interventions.

• B. Long Term:

  Quality and State of Art Care and facilities for Cardiac Patients. Guideline based Patient care training to students and Paramedical Staff. Provide training to create Specialist with Empathy in the field of Cardiology. Facilitate and Conduct quality research in Cardiology.
